HEPD Whole House Devices are specifically engineered to provide AC surge protection for the entire AC power system within a household. These compact devices are designed to safeguard AC wires in the residence from surges that could potentially impact home electronics and appliances that are not connected to surge strips. They are intended for use on 120/240 VAC single phase, 3 wire systems with an isolated ground, and can be easily mounted adjacent to the load centre. Additionally, color integration and flush mounting kits for the load centre are available for separate purchase. Each device offers 25 kA of short circuit protection and 80 kA of surge protection per phase, and is packaged for consumer convenience in a NEMA 4X housing. Measuring at 3.23 inches tall, 3.72 inches wide, and 2.10 inches deep, the surge protection device is CSA certified by UL.
